ASTRA is in active development, and the frontier is starting to come alive. This is a multiplayer space game built on a few stubborn ideas:
- Space is dangerous. There are no fully safe zones. Risk is the point.
- Everything is tradeable. Ore, ships, equipment — all on player-run markets.
- Location matters. Goods don’t teleport. Moving them is the gameplay.
- Loss means something. Death costs you. That cost is what makes the economy real.
Choose your path
Mine the belts, haul cargo across constellations, turn pirate, settle a planet, or found a corporation that owns stations and pays out to its shareholders. Start safe-ish in the low tiers and push toward the deep ones, where the best resources sit next to the worst trouble.
Getting in early
The game runs on a downloadable launcher that’s almost ready. The fastest way to be first through the airlock is the Discord — devlogs, faction lore, and early access drop there first.
